Having his/her own established business is one of the greatest things that an entrepreneurial student aspires to achieve. But as someone who is yet to create a name in the ever growing, competitive business industry, a lot of hurdles can be encountered on the way. Thus, a student needs to become fully equipped as he/she faces the real world.
For marketing students in the Philippines, the Registered Marketing Professional (RMP) Certification exam is encouraged to be taken before they graduate and have a job. The RMP, which works like a licensure exam but is not under the Professional Regulation Commission, is created to assess the marketing concepts and skills of students by giving them theoretical and case analysis types of examination.
The Junior Achievement of the Philippines, Inc (JAPI), a member of Junior Achievement Worldwide, offers RMP program to business students from all over the country. It aims to bring out the entrepreneurial potentials and capabilities of young people, and lead them on reaching the pinnacle of success in the global economy.
The RMP Certification program of JAPI provides benefits to the students who will pass the exam, as well as to the schools where the students attend,
