Wednesday, September 09, 2015 KKFI renews its partnership with MBC by signing the Memorandum of Agreement that was held at the conference room of Manila Business College. This event was participated by Ms. Nancy Nicolas, KKFI’s Executive Director, Mr. Rexan Dayao, Acting Program Director of KKFI, Mr. Jameson Chua, Executive Vice President of MBC and Ms. Karen Cecilia Ortega-Birosel, Vice President for Student Affairs of MBC.
KKFI or Kapatiran Kaunlaran Foundation Inc. is formerly known as Methodist Social Center (MSC) is an ecumenical, non-profit nationwide organization that believes that education is instrumental in helping empower marginalized sectors of Philippine society. This is a response in the challenge to the poor to develop a social development, for 63 years of existence, KKFI constantly help the Filipino youth to have a good future by means of providing them better education through their different affiliates. Just as MBC’s mission in giving the bright minds a good future. And because of this passion in helping the youth of our today’s generation, MBC and KKFI had their partnership for two years now.
This partnership focuses on YEP program that aims to help Filipino youth especially the indigent ones. It will mostly focus into ALS passers and out-of-school youth that KKFI are assisting.
